25 Days of SFF: Day 4 – Top 5 Productions to Watch

Recently I’ve done several poll on the SFF Facebook group to determine the Top 5 of lots of different things. For the 24 days leading up to the 25th Anniversary (and the day itself, of course) I will be posting a new Top 5 list each day, using the highly scientific and unbiased results from those FB polls. I’ll try to make these posts short but I’m pretty long winded and like to talk so…they’re probably all going to be pretty long. Enjoy?

 Top 5 Productions to Watch

Filming is a lot of fun and sometimes it's more fun then watching the finished production, but at the end of the day you want to watch the show you spent so long filming.  Assuming that Yibble actually edits it, and you somehow manage to get a copy, you can enjoy a good story while remembering the fun you had filming it.

FYI: A lot of people didn't vote in this one so the results are probably very biased, but oh well.

#5 - The Perfect Combination

Catherine Summers is a talented thief, Michael Winters is a top ranked assassin. When they meet on the job (she’s robbing a house, he’s been hired to kill the owner) it’s a recipe for disaster. They soon find themselves caught in a web of lies, spies, secrets, and stolen diamonds and on the run from everyone including Michael’s boss, a secret agency, and a pizza-delivery girl. It’s a comic farce full of slapstick, puns, chases, and jokes galore.

#4 - C2

Courtney and Caden Caldwell are sisters, and the best bounty hunters in the Criminally Cute Division of the Erinyes Agency - an organization that polices the mythic and folkloric communities.  Their target is Kasimir - a crazy and eccentric Leshy.

#3 - Eidolon

Zelda Graves is a vengeful teenage Ghost Hunter whose foolish actions lead her to get cursed by a powerful, Native spirit. Her curse? “Live to die another day, the Hunter is now the Prey.” Her body lies in a coma while her spirit is damned to wander the earth as the thing she hates most of all: a ghost.

In the end, Zelda must turn to only person who is willing to help her: her legal guardian, Maria Sanchez. With the help of an ex-sorcerer, a rival ghost hunter, and a gifted student who is prone to being kidnapped they embark on an epic adventure to resurrect Zelda and lay Maria’s own ghosts to rest.

#2 - Pandora's Box

Set in a post-apocalyptic future where war and natural disasters have thrown the continent into a dark age where technology is lost. The series takes place 700 years after the “Great War” as humanity emerges into a Renaissance and rediscovers the technology of the past.
In this harsh, desolate world where modern meets medieval, where swords and horses exist beside cars and guns, an evil Empire rules completely. A group of rebels fight against the tyranny of Empress Zarina, lead by Cat – a former officer in the army; Turlo – a technical expert; Zarc – a talented thief; and Diyara – the Chosen One of the Druids. Together they vow to fight until the Empire is destroyed.

#1 - The Gift Bearer

Three orphaned sisters get a strange package in the mail one day. Inside is an ancient statue known as the Gift Bearer. Working in mysterious ways, the magical statue sends them back in time where they come face to face with their Aunt Camilla, a modern time traveler working for a covert agency known as the Echelon. Determined to bring their Aunt back to the present, the sisters travel through time having grand adventures and learning more about themselves and their family than they ever wanted to know.
